03.5.2009 environmental film festival a success
Locals flocked to the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival last night, hosted by the Organization for the Assabet River and sponsored by studio-e.
Liz and Jess attended the sold-out event, held in Maynard, and marveled at some of the issues presented. Some of their favorite films included Burning the Future: Coal in America, in which activists grapple with the environmental devastation caused by coal-mining in West Virginia, and Goldfish, in which two girls who’ve watched Finding Nemo too many times break into school to free the class goldfish — by flushing him down the toilet.

As a design firm committed to education, studio-e believes that it’s important to give back to the community, provide programs that assist in protecting the environment and support the work of non-profits.
Below is a trailer for one of the festival's films, Homegrown Revolution.
